The British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) has seen some great conditions over the weekend and some great results for riders who have worked and trained hard over the past winter.

Top results for Toby and Hannah at this event when the weather conditions and wind where quite harsh at times… this result shows the quality of up and coming UK riders. We will also bring you the results on the Ams and Juniors as we get them.

Aaron Hadlow 5 x World Champ could also be seen out on the water at the BKSA event. Though he was not competing it is always great to get his support for a UK event.

May 17, 2009 at 15:11We have had some news on the Junior results of the BKSA event in Swansea… from what our man at the Comp has hold us it was a very close heat with all riders pulling their tricks out of the bag.

May 18, 2009 at 19:43Hi all, glad you all had a great time in swansea. The gower reqion offers awsome kite surfing especialy wave riding. Been kiting alot but mainly surfing (nearly every day), I only live 20 miles from swansea now but missed the event due to a surf trip abroad. I’m gutted I missed you all but I will be back at L.A some wknd when there’s wind, just check over your shoulder on the water in the next few weeks
. The winds been pumping this week with overhead surf thrown in, massive airs but awsome wave riding and challenging but my torch 3′s are still cuttting it! Well done toby,ollie and dan at the event see you soon. Best wishes to Andy and family.

Loads of good stuff on your blog , I like the audio one to. Paddle round the pier will be on the cards to. Glad they got some wind as we dont get the see breezes here so the winds are’nt so consistent, the swell generaly is and boy I’ve been out when its been big and pooping myself! All good fun!
