Stand Up.. Whats Happening: Airhead Surf Diary

Friday, July 27th, 2007

Over the past week we have had lots happen at Airhead….

At last we have had stock of the Jimmy Lewis 10ft & 11ft Boards but that is just the tip of the ice berg…. once things started to arrive there was no stopping it… C4 paddles and JL deck grip quickly followed by Kinimaka Tahitian and Quick Blade paddles…. it’s like being a kid in a candy store.

The shape of the Quick Blades is something else, the blades are shaped to perform and with the abs rail they will stand quite a bit of punishment. The paddle that surprised me the most is the Kinimaka Tahitian… these paddles are made with the utmost care and it came across from the moment I picked it up, it has an warmth you will only find from a wood paddle, it just seemed to fit in into my hand like it was made for me and after a great session it could be hung on the wall because it looks fantastic…

After all these great boards and paddles have turned up now the fun starts by trying it all……. you will hear more from the Airhead soon

Indo Board

The day also saw some paddle board action from Olaus who was out making the most of the small surf that was on offer and having a great time.

Stolen Kitesurf Equipment: Airhead Surf Diary

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

Bad news travels fast but this time we want everybody to know.

Neal Hilder, Naish UK team rider and long time friend of Airhead has had all his kites stolen from the back of his VW van on the night of Saturday 30th July. The van was parked on Neal’s driveway and it would seem that the person or person’s who took them knew where to look and what to take as they took only the kites and left his stereo in one piece. The Kites that where taken are all Naish Torch 3, all the kites have serial numbers so if you get offered Naish Torch 3’s please take the number and the details of the person who offered them to you.

This is a major blow to Neal who is in mid season training and really getting to grips with his kit.

If you have any news on who has taken Neal’s gear then please call us on 01903 850831 and help catch the B******s

Thanks for your help::: the Airhead
