XM 12′ Paddle Board Leash: Airhead Surf Diary
The XM 12 foot paddleboard coil leash has landed….. Yep after three weeks of waiting for these babies to hit Airhead the postman delivered them to us today.
My first impression on opening the box is that they are everything we were hoping for… a good solid cord with good fittings, the quick release is well made…. I was hoping to get out this evening to give them a really good test but the wind was kicking in so the plan is now to get out in the morning so I can come back with a proper review on them…..
So as I always say……. more from the Airhead real soon

Ok I managed to get out this evening to try the new XM paddle surf leash…. it worked a treat. The ankle cuff fits well and the brass swivels don’t snag (though it was the first time out and you really would’nt expect then to) the main thing with this leash is the fact its not dragging in the water or stepping on it and for that fact it was great… oh yes the quick release is a great bonus and pulled without a problem… not in anger this time though
All round I would give the XM Paddle Surf leash the all round thumbs up.
As for my session this evening… not the best I have ever had as I could not stop my leg from shaking…. very odd… but hey it was great to be on the water.
