Paddle Round The Pier was founded by Dave Samuel back in 1996 along with the hardest working team of volunteers you will ever find. This group of fanatic surfers and water sports people have work tirelessly every year for all types of charities and worthy causes.

The event continues to grow every year and 2011 is the largest paddle village Brighton as ever seen.

Visitors and residents of Brighton have a fantastic amount on show with live music, funfair rides, skateboarding, surf shops and of course the Paddle event its self which will attract hundreds of creative ways to get round the pier.

Indo board team

The Indo Balance Board team where out in force with Hunter the Indo Board inventor coming along from the US to see what the event is all about… As always there was a huge crown round the stand getting instruction from the pro’s and Hunter himself

Fanatic SUP team

The Fanatic Paddle Board team had one of the largest stands in the Paddle Village with Jay Manning and Charlie Grey giving out loads of advice and demos on the SUP range…

This years PRTP event is set to the biggest ever with more stalls, more events, the 20 mile stand up paddle board endurance race and of course the paddle round the pier all making Europe’s largest free beach festival….
