Wakestock 2011 – Acts Announced and Tickets on Sale Jan 31st

Wakestock 2011 tickets are going on sale a month early this year and 2011 sees the line-up stronger than ever. Rising superstars and Brit Award nominees, BIFFY CLYRO will be coming to play a full headline set at the 2011 event, which takes place on 8th, 9th and 10th July.

Their Wakestock show will be one of only 3 shows the band are playing in the UK this summer! Joining them is Liverpool band THE WOMBATS. This trio are best known for belters like “Tokyo” and “Let’s Dance to Joy Division” and “Kill the Director and with loads of new material out this year, they are set to go off! Songstress ELLIE GOULDING will also be making the trip to the Llyn. After she burst into the limelight by topping the BBC’s sound of 2010 poll, and winning the prestigious Critics Choice Award at The Brits.  

Rapper EXAMPLE will also be joining the party along with two of the biggest names in Drum and Bass, DJ’s DANNY BYRD and DJ FRESH. They will be joined by mash up master JAGUAR SKILLS and Radio 1’s fantastic ANDY GEORGE & JAYMO.

There are loads more announcements coming up including more big name bands and DJ’s joining the line up, and a whole host of big name riders coming over to the UK to compete in on the wakeboarding competition. 2011 PRICES -

WEEKEND TICKET £100 – Access to the festival arena for 3 days

WEEKEND CAMPING TICKET £125 – Access to the festival arena for all 3 days, plus camping from 1pm Thurs – 1pm Mon

QUIET CAMPSITE WEEKEND TICKET £130 – Access to the festival arena for 3 days, plus camping in the new Quiet Campsite which has a strict noise curfew from 11pm – 7am. Opens 1pm Thurs – 1pm Mon

CAMPERVAN TICKET £50 – This is required in addition to a Weekend Camping Ticket but allows you to park & sleep in your live-in vehicle within the campervan area in the main campsite.
